Maison Pierre Paillard was founded over 200 years ago in Bouzy. Today, it is run by brothers Antoine and Quentin Paillard, the eighth generation of winegrowers. The Paillard family settled in Bouzy at the beginning of the 18th century. Historically, the family was comprised of shepherds, then innkeepers and schoolmasters. The ancestorial Antoine Paillard acquired several parcels of vines in Bouzy in 1768 becoming a viticulturist and starting the familial tradition.

Our Roots in Bouzy, a Historic Grand Cru

Our family domain, a historic 11-hectare vineyard, is located in the legendary Grand Cru terroir of Bouzy. Its chalky subsoil and southern exposure yield a generous yet balanced Pinot Noir with unique structure and finesse.

An Audacious and Responsible Vision

Since 2016, we have worked to define the « Antoine et Quentin » Paillard spirit. The following criteria have become essential to our signature: the conversion of our vineyards to organic farming, respectful soil practices to obtain high vine maturity with qualitative yields, and long aging in oak.

2018, Beyond Bouzy

In 2018, inspired by our passion of wine and driven by our high practice standards, we diversified our portfolio through the harvesting and vinification of grapes from the finest terroirs of the Montagne de Reims. In addition to Bouzy, we now offer our interpretation, as demonstrated by our terroir-driven wines, of Ambonnay, Verzy, Verzenay, Ludes, Taissy and Le Mesnil sur Oger.
